2009 Centennial Popcorn Challenge Sale Dates

District Training Dates: August 3rd - 6th (locations/time TBA)

Popcorn Sale Start Date: August 11, 2009

Show & Sell Orders due: August 21, 2009

Show & Sell Distribution: September 12, 2009 (Distribution location TBA)

Take Orders Due to Council: November 13, 2009

Take Order Distribution: December 5, 2009

Coastal/Northern Star Districts: Packaging Services located at 1904 Mykawa Rd., Pearland between the hours of 8:00 am-12noon

Thunderbird/Cradle of Texas Districts: World in Need located at 23543 Highway 288 North, Angleton between the hours of 8:00am-12 noon.

Monies and copies of order forms (for incentives) due to Council: December 21, 2009

2009 Popcorn Incentives

Popcorn Commission

Your unit will earn 28 % commission if you choose prizes from Trails-End or 33 % commission if you opt out of the Trails-End prizes.

“Fill-a-Page”

For every page you fill (25 lines) your name will be put in a drawing to win a 42″ LCD 1080p Flat Screen T.V. The more pages you fill - the better your odds of winning! (Only one T.V. will be awarded)

Sell $4000 - Get a Play Station 3
(plus 2 tickets to our “Centennial Popcorn Challenge” celebration at Schlitterbahn)

Sell $3000 - Get a Family 4 pack of tickets to the Houston Astros or the Houston Rockets
(plus 2 tickets to our “Centennial Popcorn Challenge” celebration at Schlitterbahn)

Sell $2000.00 - Get a $75.00 Gift Card to a store of your choice
(plus 2 tickets to our “Centennial Popcorn Challenge” celebration at Schlitterbahn)

Top Unit Prize

Free registration for all units and participating scouts to the 2010 BAC Summer Camp!

To qualify all four must be reached:

  • Unit must reach $10,000.00 in overall sales by Dec. 31, 2009. (overall sales are orders from show & sell, take order and orderpopcorn.com)
  • Each registered scout must submit a completed order form by Dec. 21, 2009 (25 lines)
  • All monies due to council must be paid by Dec. 31, 2009.
  • Scout must be registered with the BAC
