The Wihinipa Hinsa Lodge #113 will have its' Winter Ordeal class at Camp Karankawa January 13 - 15, 2012. Those Scouts who have been voted by their troop and Called out at a previous Camp are now eligible for full membership in the Order of the Arrow. You are only candidates at this point. You must complete the Ordeal weekend to become official members of the Order of the Arrow. Listed below are the items you must bring:
Official BSA Health Form (part A & B)
You need to be in uniform when you arrive at Camp.
Bring a tent, backpack,sleeping bag, water bottle, ground cloth, rain gear, insect repellent, work clothes and gloves. Do not bring snacks or electronic gear to Camp.
The registration fees include: OA sash, Lodge flap, OA Handbook, dues for a year and meals for the weekend.
There will be an OA Trading Post to buy memorabilia. So bring extra money.
Pre-registration fees before January 6, 2012 are $50.00
Registration fees after January 6, 2012 are $55.00
If you are already an Ordeal member and want to bridge up to Brotherhood the fees are $35.00 before January 6, 2012 and $40.00 after January 6, 2012.
If you are attending as a staff member then the fees are $15.00 before January 6, 2012 and $20.00 after January 6. 2012.
