2012 Corporate Pinewood Derby
Bay Area Council, BSA would like you to join us for an Annual Corporate Pinewood Derby Race benefitting the youth throughout Galveston and Brazoria Counties. Through your sponsorship support, you will become part of a winning team in the advocacy of youth and Character Values for a life time. The 500, will give your company an opportunity for team building by providing a unified “win” goal. It will not only enhance inter-office morale but also company pride with a focus on the management philosophy of, those who play well with others work well together. This event will let you compete against others in your job related classification field on a whole new level other than bids, sales, or contracts. The 500 will commence in a cocktail hours atmosphere for the purpose of networking on two occasions. First will be the reception where you will be able to test run your car and judge on the “Best of Show”. Then it is off to the Races on the second evening to discover who is the best of the best in our area. Your challenge is to design and build a 21st century car to compete against others within your community all with the same common denominator, to help youth.
