Greetings from your Summer Crewin’ Program Director
My name is Kara, your Summer Crewin’ Program Director! I thought I might introduce myself to give you an idea of who is helping plan the best Venture Camp in the Council! I am a senior in college and an Associate Advisor of Crew 554 from League City, Texas. Anyway, I am a part of a team working very hard to bring together a program just for you! It will be a week full of games, awesome competitions, and opportunities to earn requirements towards the Bronze and Silver Awards during day sessions.
Our evening festivities will include a glow-in-the-dark water gun fight, capture the flag, push-car race, and an all night beach party at Moody Gardens in Galveston! Your week will be jam packed with music, daily themed events, food, prizes and of course the great outdoors! Are you tired of just earning merit badges and ready to advance Venture Style? Come join us for a week of fun, a chance to meet people from other councils and get a taste of what Venturing is all about! All Crews, Ships, Explorers and Boy Scouts 14 and older welcome, and bring your friends who may not even be in scouting, yet! Register by June 26th! Hope to see you there!

Earn Your Outdoor Bronze Awards
At Summer Crewin’ 2010, you will have the opportunity to earn your Outdoor Bronze Award! Space is limited! First come first serve! Make sure you express your interest in earning your Bronze when signing up for your sessions!

- Cooking
- Land Navigation
- Wilderness Survival
- Shooting Sports
- Leave No Trace
- Equestrian
- Watercraft
Other Requirements will be offered too for partial completion.
