Camp-O-Ree 2020 - Council-wide

Camp-O-Ree is a weekend campout for troops, crews and ships. Scouts will compete as groups in various competitions, so get ready to put your Scouting Spirit on display! This year promises to be bigger & better than ever before! This event is not a test you have to endure, but rather a friendly competition between patrols. All districts are invited to attend!

Camp-O-Ree can be an important tool you can use to help promote Scout skills, teamwork and the patrol method in your unit.  The patrol method is king at this Camp-O-Ree. Let your veteran patrols stand on their own.  Let them decide how to set up their camp site to their best advantage. Let them decide if their tents are better in a straight line, in a circle or anything in between.

Your new Scout patrols, (first year Scouts) will not compete with veteran patrols.  They will compete with other new Scout patrols. How much help new Scout patrols receive from adult leaders is your call.  Make sure that you give them just enough so that they will have a good time.

Activities include:

- Cooking Competitions
- Campsite Gateway

- Patrol Method
- Scout Skills Stations

- Shooting Sports Competitions

- & more!
