Ready, set, aim

The smoke has cleared and the results are in: the 2016 Scouts Honor Shooting Classic was a huge success. Support from our sponsors helps us to continue to provide quality programs for local youth in Galveston and Brazoria Counties.

Join the Bay Area Council, Boy Scouts of America to raise money for local Scouting programs. Aim to be the best at the Scouts Honor Shooting Classic. Participate in the Sporting Clays tournament, join the Ultimate Rifle Competition and much, much more. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome.

Corporate sponsors have the opportunity to provide promotional item(s) for goodie bags. You may also bring your own Golf Cart to camp to transport your team.

Various sponsorships are available:

$5000 Platinum Sponsor: Includes corporate logo listed with event title, corporate logo listed on Council website, two five-person teams, corporate banner displayed at event, ammunition (20 or 12 gauge), Practice shoot on May 5th from Noon-4 p.m., lunch at the practice shoot, lunch/dinner, special gift for team members.

$2500 Gold Eagle Sponsor: Includes two five-person teams, corporate banner displayed at event, ammunition (20 or 12 gauge), Practice shoot on May 5th from Noon-4 p.m., lunch at the practice shoot, lunch/dinner, special gift for team members.

$1200 Silver Eagle Sponsor: Includes one five-person team, corporate banner displayed at event, lunch/dinner, ammunition (20 or 12 gauge), special gift for team members.

$750 Bronze Eagle Sponsor: Includes one five-person team, lunch/dinner, corporate banner displayed at event

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will only be granted to the original paying customer, whether it is the unit or individual. All unit refunds will be paid to the Committee Chairperson on record for that unit. All but 15% of an individual?s fee is refundable, under certain circumstances (sickness, death in family, summer school, military deployment or relocation only) as long as it is requested in writing, with back-up documentation, and received in the Scout Service Center, 3020 53rd Street, Galveston, TX 77551-5917. Refund requests due to light weather issues, homesickness, and schedule conflicts, misinterpretation of printed council policies and procedures or reasons other than those noted above will not warrant a refund. In addition, partial refunds will not be granted for partial camp/event stays. If a camp or event is forced to be canceled by the council, because of severe weather, or circumstances prior to the camp or event occurring, the council will reschedule the camp/event or initiate the refund process. All requests are due to the council office within 15 days of the final day of the Camp/Event date.
