Scouting Spirit

Get the Spirit

Scouting Spirit is in everyone of us and it is also something that Scouts of all ages exhibit the in their actions everyday. Cub Scouts are reviewed by the Character Connections and as boys turn into young men on their trail to Eagle, spirit becomes a crucial part of rank advancement.

The Spirit can be from the simplest act of being kind to that of extreme bravery, yet it is also one of the hardest to evaluate. It is not based on a specific number of scouting events or physical written acts that must be accomplished for measurability. It is evaluated on recommendations and testimonials from those that know a young man personally.

"How does a Scout live his life with his peers and those who know him by living the Scout Oath and Law outside of the Scout meetings and activities?" The concept is simply how he brings out the best in others as a reflection of his own character and attitude in his daily life.

The journey continues.... enjoy the testimonials from those who have seen a Scout in his everyday life. A Scout is... trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent!
