Lifeguard Certification Weekend 2015
Looking to obtain your Lifeguard Certification? Then look no further than to the course offered at Sea Scout Base – Galveston!
The course is an intensive weekend course, which will take a scout or adult that registers to receiving BSA & American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Credentials.
Once obtained, the certification will assist the individual in volunteering at the unit level for swims and boating programs, plus can lead to employment positions in both the internal Scouting community and beyond.
TIME: Checkin is at 6 p.m., dinner not provided on first night, advise bringing a snack for that evening and grabing dinner in advance; Chekout is at 4 p.m.

WHO MAY ATTEND: Anyone may attend but you must be at least 15 years of age.
COST: (Fee includes Lodging, Meals & Lifeguard Certification)

Camp K Volunteer $90 [Open to all but you must commit to volunteering for two Camp Karankawa programs in 2015.
One must be Summer Adventure Camp (June 14-20, 2015) or Webelos Adventure Camp (July 9-12, 2015). And one must be Native American Weekend (November 13-15, 2015) or another camp to be determined at a later date. Camp Karankawa is located at 3249 FM 1459 Rd., Sweeny, TX 77480.]

Personal Clothing when not in the pool
