Sea Scout Base Galveston Provateer Adventure Scouting

Join a jolly good time

Enjoy three fun-filled days and nights of kayaking along Offatts Bayou, the gateway to Galveston, practice swimming and lifesaving skills, learn all about sailing 101, participate in an engaging game of beach volleyball, race to win a privateer scavenger hunt with your fellow Scouts, and finally, dance your cares away at a closing festive Luau. Pack your Hawaiian shirt...you're going to need it!

At a jolly good price

All this for a grand total fee of $400! The flat rate covers the program fees for one Scout and their Parent/Guardian  and includes lodging and meals for three full days and nights. (Scout must be at least 12 years old).

- Participants must read the 2017 Boarding Manual 

- Each adult must submit to a criminal background check & sexual predators check.

- Adult training required: Face to Face BSA Texas Youth Protection. This training is offered onsite.
