BALOO/RangeMaster Training 2013 What is BALOO training? BALOO is a requirement for Cub Scout Pack Camping. There must be at least one leader with BALOO training at a pack camping activity. There should be several leaders in your unit that have this training. BALOO does not replace OWLS (WOLT) which is mandatory for all Webelos Leaders. OWLS does not replace BALOO; they are not interchangeable. Please be advised that training courses are open to anyone regardless of your District, so sign up today. What is RangeMaster training? This course is designed to teach you how to serve as a Range Master. There is no firearm shooting involved in this course. This course is for Scouters and is provided for those leaders who will be serving as Range Master at Cub, Boy, and Venture Scout shooting events that include archery, BB gun, catapult, rockets, writs rockets, sling shots, and other devices designed to launch items through the air.
