Welcome to the Northern Star District
The Scouting program is the largest organization where the majority of manpower is volunteer based. Every District has what is referred to as the Key 3, which consists of one Professional Scouter and two Volunteers. The Key 3 is the core to the District Committee and manages the district operations with the help of others.

The Northern Star District services 1,500 youth in 45 units within the Pearland and Friendswood communities. Please contact Will Sirmon for information on Scouting units in this service area.
The Northern Star District is always seeking volunteers to help serve on the District Committee, as well as to help organize and carry out events. We are also continually seeking organizations to partner with to create new units. If you are interested in volunteering or chartering a unit, please contact the District Executive for more information.
District Roundtable - meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Fellowship Bible Church (1720 Broadway Street, Pearland TX 77581) at 7:00pm.
