Frontier Exploration 2026

Welcome, Scouts & Family Frontier Explorers, to an out-of-this-world adventure at Frontier Exploration! Get ready to blast off into the exciting world of space science as you explore, discover, and experience what it takes to be a real space explorer. At our hands-on stations, you’ll launch rockets and watch amazing demonstrations led by a NASA rocket scientists. Step into the Cosmo Closet to explore NASA space gear, then journey through the wonders of the universe with Astronomy on Wheels, where you’ll get an up-close look through telescopes and discover the incredible sights waiting in our night sky. Finally, put your creativity and science skills to work with Edible Science, where learning is almost as delicious as the adventure itself! So, Frontier Explorers, buckle up, prepare for liftoff, and get ready to make memories that are truly out of this world!

*Adults and youth are encouraged to wear a costume.

Registration

WHO MAY ATTEND: For registered Cub Scouts, siblings, and their parents. All registrations must include at least one parent and one registered Cub Scout. 

TIME: Check-in between 5-8 p.m. on Friday. Check-out by 11 a.m. Sunday. Check-in at 7 a.m.-8:15 a.m. Saturday. Program starts at 8:45 a.m. Saturday.

DATE: November 6-8, 2026

PLACE: Camp Karankawa, 3249 FM 1459, Sweeny, TX 77480

COST:
- $30 per Cub Scout/sibling
- $10 per parent/guardian
- $7 lunch option (pre-purchase only)
- Complimentary, Ages 4 and under
- Complimentary staff - MUST BE APPROVED prior to registration.

T-Shirts: $15 per shirt, sizes small through 2XL. $20 per shirt for sizes 3XL - 4XL 
(Registration cost does NOT include an event t-shirt. Separate purchase option is available during registration.)
