OA Wihinipa Hinsa Brotherhood Day 2026
The Wihinipa Hinsa Lodge #113 Brotherhood Ceremony is a special event in the Order of the Arrow (OA) that marks a member's full membership. The ceremony is a chance for members to reaffirm their commitment to the Order's ideals and to evaluate their service to Scouting and their lodge.
To participate in the Brotherhood Ceremony, a member must complete six months of service as an Ordeal member, demonstrate their knowledge of the OA's traditions and obligations.
The ceremony is focused on reinforcing the OA's values and ideals through challenges to the mind, rather than the body. It is only open to the candidates, the OA members who are running the ceremony, and the candidates' parents, guardians, or religious leaders.
