Cub Scout Swim Day

Come out and swim at Camp Karankawa for the day as we say goodbye to Summer, a great way to kick-off your Cub Scout Fall!  Bring a picnic lunch and your Ez-Up tent.  The pool is right next to a big open field so bring your frisbees, footballs & soccer balls.

Cub scout swimming is offered to help cub scouts receive the training to fulfill the requirements to earn the swimming portions of their programs.

TIME: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

COST:
$5 per Scout
Complimentary for staff

PLEASE BRING:
- BSA Health and Medical form (Parts A&B)
- Proof of BSA Swim Level*
- Closed toed shoes are required. No sandals. Swimwear must but modest.
- Water shoes if needed.
- Towel if needed.
- Sunscreen & mosquito spray.
- Frisbees, soccer balls, footballs, etc

*If you do not have proof of BSA Swimming level you will need to be swim tested the day of the event.

Cub Scout Shooting Sports Day

Cub Scouts Shooting Sports Day is an opportunity for Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos Scouts (1st - 5th graders)* to try archery, BB guns and sling shots. They may earn at least one Shooting Sports Award  for their rank.

*This program is NOT open to Lions.

**Due to the requirements of the shooting sports award, it’s possible not every Scout will earn an award.

TIME: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

COST:
$15 per Scout.

(Parents & siblings may observe. Register as General Admission.)

LUNCH: $5 (Includes hotdog, chips & drink.)
