 About Me: Growing up I was heavily involved in the scouting program including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Police Explorers, Sea Scouts and Order of the Arrow. I earned my Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts, achieved the rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts and received Brotherhood in Order of the Arrow. Scouting has always been an important part of my life. I believe in the program and what the program produces. I feel the scouting program has allowed me opportunities that other programs were unable to do and provided the skills needed to be successful in life. Scouting has helped me grow into the person I am today.

 Favorite Scouting Moment: When one of my staff members (17 years-old)  for summer camp told me I taught him how to swim, when he was in cub scouts and came to the day camp that I was the Aquatics Director for.
 About Me: I moved to Texas in September with my boy, Bean (2 year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi), and my two bunnies, one named Bun Bun and the other Opie. Geoff, my husband, moved down in September with my big girl, Letzty (4 year-old  hound mix). We have enjoyed our time here so far meeting new people and getting used to the weather,  but I miss the mountains and snow back home. I am very fortunate to have a loving, supporting husband who lets me come to camp every day and most weekends for my awesome job.

About Me: I'm fortunate enough to live at Camp Karankawa with my wife and two small children. It's the backyard I always wanted when I was growing up, and I think my children will benefit greatly from the camp and the Scouting experience.
