BSA National Fee Increase

Effective August 1st, 2023, the BSA will implement the following national membership fees which were approved by the National Executive Committee:

• $80 for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouting participants + $25 one-time join fee for NEW participants + $6 Bay Area Council Insurance fee
• $60 for all adult volunteers + $6 Bay Area Council Insurance fee
• $50 for Exploring participants Youth & Adult + $6 Bay Area Council Insurance fee
• $25 for Merit Badge Counselors not registered in a unit
• $100 Unit Charter fee 
• $15 for Scout Life magazine (optional)

Camp Karankawa Workday

8 a.m. to Noon

Volunteers are an integral part of how camp delivers successful programs year-round. Get involved. Make a difference. All volunteers, young and old, are welcome.

Several projects are available, including:

- Hog Hunting

- Cabin Renovation

-Grass & Tree Cutting

- Road Repair

- Tee Pee Roof Replacement
